Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with ThinkForward, a charity whose vision is that every young person is empowered to gain confidence, independence and skills they need for a better and brighter future. To achieve this they deliver unique, personalised coaching programmes for young people that enable them to overcome challenges they face and make a successful transition into work. They are currently looking to recruit Business Partnerships Manager, to support the delivery of their FutureMe programme across Kent.
As their Business Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of employability activities to equip young people for further education and sustained employment; ensuring they gain the knowledge, skills and qualifications and experience needed to become ready for work. Working collaboratively with peers, you will develop and maintain strong external Education and Employment partnerships to support delivery of progression activities and programmes and will achieve this by identifying opportunities with businesses, job brokers and training providers.
To be successful, you will have significant knowledge and experience of developing and supporting young people into sustainable employment through providing an in depth, person centred employability service. Due to nature of this position, demonstrable experience of developing professional relationships with multiple stakeholders including corporate partners and businesses is essential, as is a good understanding of the local and national labour market. You will have experience of working with young people aged 13-18.
Please note, although predominately based in Kent, you would be required to champion a collaboratively delivery approach and will be required to represent all programme of ThinkForward across all geographical areas they operate in.
