Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with Kinship, the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales.

Kinship works to inform, support and empower kinship carers, providing tailored support (both in home and community settings), and connecting carers via their national community and local support groups. They also support professionals to understand kinship families and improve support for them, and research and campaign for continued systemic change.

At an exciting time of growth, Kinship is now looking to appoint an experienced Implementation Project Manager (4 days) to support in the delivery and national scaling of a new Peer-to-Peer Support Service.

Funded by the Department for Education, the Peer-to-Peer Support Service is a brand new £1million initiative, delivering peer support groups for kinship carers, through both face to face and digital channels in England.

This is a game changing service for kinship carers and builds on Kinship's 10 years' experience of developing peer support groups, as well as a successful pilot of a regional support group network model in the North East.

Reporting to the Associate Director, as Implementation Project Manager you will play a pivotal role supporting the set up and delivery of this exciting new service, comprising of nine regional volunteer-led networks, as well as an accessible peer support digital microsite, e-Learning platform and online peer support chat.

Working in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, you will support colleagues to project manage their core elements of the service.

You'll also play a key role in ensuring collaborative relationships between the peer support service team and colleagues across the charity. You'll use your exceptional planning and communication skills to ensure the service is understood internally, plans are aligned and opportunities for collaboration and impact maximised.

You will create a quality assurance framework, leading on monthly and quarterly reporting to ensure the service meets its milestones and core deliverables, and will support the Associate Director in ensuring that the service is delivered to a high quality for beneficiaries.

About you:

The successful candidate for this role will have significant knowledge and experience of project management, including the implementation of projects from scratch.

You will have a strong background in the delivery of work in cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, and will be skilled at bringing teams together to share best practice, ensure transparency and buy-in. You will have demonstrable experience of managing risk and governance as part of an integrated project approach, and will have proven experience of setting up evaluative frameworks, as well as using Salesforce for reporting and monitoring.

Overall, you will be an outstanding communicator and negotiator, passionate about providing high quality services for a variety of vulnerable beneficiaries.
