Sadler's Wells is a world-leading creative organisation - a place where artists come together to create dance and where we welcome everyone to experience and be inspired.

This is an exciting and complex time in the theatre's history as they recover from the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on our business model, and work towards opening a fourth venue in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London in 2023. The new Director of Development will play a crucial role in this recovery and future vision.

As the Director of Development, you will play a crucial role in realising the organisational values at both a strategic and operational level. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and skilled fundraiser, as well as a leader with strong influential and negotiation skills. You will have demonstrable experience of devising, implementing and delivering effective fundraising strategies.

Building effective relationships and sharing a passion for the importance of Sadler's Wells' work with major donors, sponsors and individual supporters is essential, as is the ability to work creatively and collaboratively across teams.
